Starting from UN’s call resolution NO.A/Res/64/255 “Improving Global Road Safety to implement the Global Safety Week”, Indonesia has committed to implement the National Road Safety Week since 2007.
Ministry of Transportation re-organize a National Safety Week Year 2016. The opening was held on Monday, 24 October 2016. This event is a campaign to raise public awareness about the problem of road traffic safety. In 2013, Government has issued Inpres No. 4/2013 on ” Decade of Action for Road Safety”.
It is proper to all stakeholders, include JAS Airport Services, to show concern for road traffic safety issues in Indonesia. The National Road Safety Week 2016 was organized by the Directorate General of Land Transportation, with theme “Road Safety is Our Common Responsibility”. This theme is also official campaigned supported by UN/WHO.
