Established on 8 June 1984, PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk (CAS Destination JAS Airport Services) started off its operation in 1985 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport by providing ground services for Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines, Lufthansa, and Singapore Airlines. In 1989, the Company expanded its operational network into several major airports in Indonesia, namely Bali, Surabaya, Manado, Makassar and Medan.
As part of ground handling service provided, the Company expanded its business into cargo handling and warehousing services in 2000. This expansion has boosted the Company in serving more than 25 airlines nationwide as well as making the Company as first private ground handling provider in Indonesia that provides one stop solution for the customers.
Driven by necessity to establish business with international standard, the company engaged cooperation with Singapore Airport Terminal Services Limited (SATS) as strategic partner on February 2004.
The company was listed as public entities on 15 July 2002, by listing its shares at Surabaya Stock Exchange and currently, the Company serves about 42 airlines with 12 stations networked in Indonesia.
